Well well well. The past week or so has seen a serious rise in my postings of the most kick-ass kaijucentric RPG on the interebz (Cheap plug: [link]) and has generally seen me writing much much more then I have in months.

So does this mean my slum is over? I'm gonna go ahead and say yes, for the most part. For the first time in months, I'm really enjoying writing again. The RPs I've been doing over at SoE are are actually giving me great enjoyment to write.

It all started about two weeks ago when I first responded to a thread started by THE GODZILLA in which his new kaiju, Cicindelion, destroyed a Shadow creature:

My original response revealed that Myston and Cicindelion had fought before, and Myston had lost. But after some tweaks at TG's request, that aspect was nixed. The thread itself was pretty fun, and I'm glad I did it.

After that, Inferno Rodan began one in which his kaiju Pavoroc buzzed the base of the race I control, the Bartosians.

It was a brief encounter, but it gave me an excuse to move my mech to where he needed to be, and further helped to restore my RP muscles.

But the final piece occurred last night. A boss battle has started, and I posted an encounter between the leader of The Great MM's Klenthurain empire, Saberon Tchove, and the pilot of my own Armada P.E.R.F.E.C.T., Jok-Toon.

I don't know why, but I enjoyed writing this a great deal. Oddly enough though, one of the chief reasons that I'm finding it so much more enjoyable to write is due to the fact that I'm now using Google Docs as my chief writing utensil.

I opened up a Gmail account on a whim, and I'm seriously digging it. It has a host of cool options that's making me seriously consider switching over from Yahoo as my main E-mail provider. But beyond that, is Google Calender and Google Docs, which are making it exceptionally easy for me to keep track of dates and back up important documents in one space. Odd how something as simple as that has lit the fire back up under my ass.

So, does this mean I'll be starting back on Kaiju Uprising? Maybe. I'm having problems with my middle finger on my left hand lately, it's twitching and cramping up whenever I type for any length of time, which I suspect is due to my typing style. But at any rate, I kind of have to limit what I type.
